Moving Mums

Want to exercise but having trouble fitting it in around your kids?

Since having my daughter, I’ve really come to appreciate how difficult it can be to fit exercise into your busy schedule when you have children. I’ve also come to realise just how important it is for new mums to get active for stress relief, physical benefit and general wellbeing.

This has led me to join forces with another local personal trainer, Hannah Gillard, to form Moving Mums; cost-effective group exercise training for mothers of young children.

Many training solutions don’t cater properly to mums; neither of us want to leave our girls in a creche with strangers while we exercise so we don’t expect you to!

  • Moving Mums sessions are child-friendly. Bring your kids along with you while you exercise!
  • We focus on core strength and rehabilitation, muscle toning, pelvic floor work and shaping up.
  • Later in the year we will be adding boxing and yoga sessions.
  • We have a weekly child-friendly walking group on Tuesdays at 10am throughout the school term when the weather is good. You don’t have to be a paying member to join this, it’s all about just getting mums moving 🙂

We want to make this a truly positive, supportive and social experience. Because getting healthy with others is far more fun than going it alone!
